Jun1or Team History
The establishment of the junior team bearing Filip’s name was the result of years of contemplation. Finnish powerboat racing is currently being developed with great enthusiasm under promoter leadership, so the idea of forming the team was put into action in the spring of 2019. The first season in 2019 was successful for the team, as F4 driver Tuukka Lehtonen became both the World and European champion, and Leevi Paasonen secured a Finnish Championship silver medal in the SJ10 class. This season 2024, the drivers racing for F1LIP Junior Team are Tino Lehto, Leevi Paasonen, Adele Servin and Alissa Servin.
Jun1or Team Today
Greetings, everyone! In a couple of weeks, we are going to be in Olbia, Sardinia, racing F1H2O. In the meantime, we can take a look at the F1LIP Junior Team racing season in 2023 now that the season is almost over. This season, the drivers racing for F1LIP Junior Team are Tino Lehto, Leevi Paasonen, and Alissa Servin.
Let’s start with Alissa. Our GT10 superdriver, Alissa Servin, battled for the top positions in every race she attended. After her debut race, in which she finished 4th, she never finished outside of the podium positions. The best weekend of the season was in early August when the first-ever U.I.M GT10 titled race, the European Cup, took place in Imatra, Finland. Alissa was the fastest in time trials and took the checkered flag first in every four heats. She is the first U.I.M titled race winner in GT10 class in history!
Alissa’s achievements in 2023:
- U.I.M European Cup Winner
- Baltic Championship silver
- Finnish Championship Series silver
A big thanks to those who made this possible for Alissa: Yamaha Motor Finland, US-Parts, RVS Technology, Porvoon Autopalvelu, and Danny Cross.
